Ancient Earth Series 1998-2008

These small watercolours were painted in a studio overlooking the Pittwater, Sydney, in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The Aboriginal sites, scribble-bark eucalypts, fire-ravaged grass-trees and geological strata, together with imaginative notions of primeval beginnings inform these works, and the large oils painted in her London studio.
